BUG© approached us with a vision that they wanted to make come to life. With their primary aim of breaking the stigma attached to men wearing make-up, we discussed their visions, ethos and goals. After thorough research into the ingredients used, and how they are so strongly skin care focused, we came to the conclusion that the identity needed to reflect this in a standout way. Inspired by nature, we experimented with a wide range of botanical colours to give the brand an identity that felt inclusive, organic and trustworthy. Leading with a burnt orange and a kaki green, BUG® aims to proudly reveal their all natural colours through emotion-lead photography, contratsted with a gritty monospace typeface.
