The Forté Project is a unique artist developed scheme which support young artists by offering them opportunities that help uncover, capture and support exciting new music in South Wales. They approached us needing a brand refresh, stating that they wanted to keep elements from their old logo. We supplied with them with a range of options that had the same look and feel as their existing brand, but with a cleaner, more modern finish – paying attention to detail with the over-all consistency of the geometry throughout the design. We experimented with a range of colour schemes, and consulted them on the most effective way to present their brand, whilst also ensuring we strategically catered for the target audience.

They needed a brand refresh, whilst still keeping elements of their old logo. We improved the over-all clarity and impact of the design by changing the typeface and making the over-all weight of the logo more consistent, whilst also experimenting with a range of colour schemes.
Our first job to Forté lead to working with them every year since, refreshing their brand colour on an annual basis. They support and promote 10 new artists every year, so the colour scheme change clearly differentiates each year visually. Artists from Forté have since been on BBC Horizons and multiple have played shows at the Ministry of Sound. We also work closely with some of the artists on Forté, coming up with artwork and branding ideas for their artists.
