Skateboard Academy UK are a company that run coaching, workshops, accreditations and events across the UK. They approached us at the end of 2019 after starting up. They needed an established brand that can primarily appeal to multiple audiences, whilst ultimately building trust.

We wanted to come up with something that could directly connect with the skateboarding community itself, in a way that could also attract new members to the scene. SAUK are one of the first businesses to do what they are doing in the country, so our goal was to come up with a minimalistic, memorable brand that could take lead in their market when it comes to skateboarding and education.

Results

Since starting Skateboard Academy UK, I’ve put my all into delivering the highest quality service I can provide, whilst communicating professionally and efficiently with my clients. My business was gaining traction, but I struggled with my brand image and I feel that the lack of branding was restraining my client’s trust and belief in my business. Since Studio Hicks has helped me with my rebrand, I’ve gained further confidence to take my business to new levels. I’ve successfully become far more visible online, and have a much deeper understanding on how to develop a sense of trust through social media, which heavily relies on branding, design and identity.

Since the rebrand, my branding identity has reached a much wider audience and ultimately has secured far more work than I imagined in the first few months of trading. Many thanks to Studio Hicks for all of their help and amazing work.
