The Brief
Skateboard Academy UK approached us with a problem they needed us to solve. It’s not a secret that skateboarding hasn’t got the safest or cleanest reputation – they needed a break the stigma surrounding skateboarding so they could appeal to a wider audience. They were struggling to build trust with their primary target market; schools, councils and community groups. We needed to create an identity that built this trust, but they still wanted to look reputable to the skateboarding to community.

Results
Since working with us, Skateboard Academy UK have started working with councils such as Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Newport, Port Talbot, Gloucestershire, Powys and charities such as Urdd, Menter and Platfform. Not only have they become well-known locally and in the skateboarding community, they’ve also created jobs for young coaches all over the country.
